OAKHILL THROUGH THE LENS OF DIRKER
20. S2upermi0ni 1 12-15. Supermini 1 12-15 was the Derek Drake show at Oak Hill. San Luis Obispo, California’s Drake rode impressively as he flawlessly pumped out 1-1 scores for first overall. Parker Mashburn was also consistent pulling in with a pair of two’s for second overall. Just behind was the #88 machine of Conner Mullennix rounding out the fast wave of Supermini 1 riders in third.

Supermini 2 13-16 looked to be a repeat of its counterpart, with the podium from earlier Supermini action reeling in the same results. Derek Drake refused to take no for an answer going 1-1 again followed by the always fast Parker Mashburn in second place just ahead of fellow KTM rider Conner Mullennix who slid in in third.
22. Girls Sr. 12-16
Quakerstown, Pennsylvania’s Jamie Astudillo laid it down in the Girls Sr. 12-16 class at Oak Hill. Astudillo
rode her Husky to 1-1 finishes good enough for the national title! Second went to Shelby Benson capping off an impressive week with 2-2 scores ahead of Louisiana’s Taylor Worley who would steal third place on the week.
23. Women 14+
Monster Energy backed Brooke Whipple has worked hard and faced a bit of adversity along the way making her Women 14+ title all the more fulfilling. Whipple whipped it to the front twice with 1-1 results and the overall victory. Second place went to Girls podium finisher Jamie Astudillo with third going to Shelby Benson.
24. Schoolboy 1 B/C 12-16
Lubbock, Texas based Carter Halpain absolutely killed it on his Yamaha’s in the Lone star state. Halpain rocketed the #128 machine up front and never looked back topping the stout class with 1-1 finishes. Grant Harlan also made Texas proud going 2-3 for second overall ahead of Derek Drake in the third place podium spot.
25. Schoolboy 2 B/C 13-16
With split 3-1 results, the overall in Schoolboy 2 B/C 13-16 boiled down to the final moto. Former teammates Sean Cantrell and Carter Halpain battled it out however in the end it was Sean Cantrell powering his Lucas Oil TLD KTM to first place overall.
Halpain’s 1-3 rides were all he needed to seal up the second place spot. Gage Schehr had a string of top five results good for third overall for the week.
26. College B/C 16-24
Josh Guffey is your College B/C 16-24 winner. Josh’s desire to win in the last moto was enough to pull him above the competition and secure the overall with 2-1 results. Second place rider Dylan Walsh earned a moto win as well em route to second place ahead of Lane Shaw in third out of Alvin, Texas.
27. 2 Stroke B/C 16+
Gage Schehr got himself back on the podium again however this time it was the spot everyone wants to be in... first overall! Gage topped the likes of Jamison Duclos who finished 2-2 and Andrew Wegner in third place to bring home the 2 Stroke B/C 16+ win for the 2 Stroke enthusiasts.
28. 250 C 12-16 Limited
With perfect moto scores, it is pretty tough to lose. Ask 250 C 12-16 Limited winner Richard Taylor. Taylor went 1-1 while behind him it was Dylan Marsh locking up the second spot in the podium battle. The third and final spot would end up Levi Newby aboard the #328 machine.
29. 250 C Limited
Levi Newby proved the new kid on the block can have what it takes to win. Newby’s 1-1 results sealed the deal on the 250 C limited championship. Connor Martell busted in with 3-2 results and second place overall. Third belonged to Covina, California’s Jeremy Hawkins who finished up 6-3.
30. 250 C
Richard Taylor made another podium appearance however this time it was
to the top spot in 250 C. Taylor’s 1-1 in race action secured him the national championship. Devon Oxsheer’s 2-2 ultimately wrapped up second overall with Levi Newby back on the podium in third place overall.
31. 250 B Limited
Sean Cantrell was on fire in Oak Hill this year once again. Cantrell wasted no time taking the checkers in 250 B Limited title. Cantrell rocketed to 1-1 results topping the blazing fast pack for the win. Felix Lopez scored second overall on the #7 Kawasaki with 2-3 results ahead of the #94 KTM ride of Luke Purther in third place.
