In 250 A, there was a new sheriff in town and he goes by the name
of Marshal Weltin. Weltin’s Blu Cru backed Yamaha was nearly flawless. Pulling in a pair of wins and a last moto second, Weltin rocked the 250 A dance taking home the overall win in 250 A. The #615 machine of Justin Hoeft pulled in a third moto win and when paired with two thirds he would land in the second overall spot. Third went to Tanner Berry whose 2-4-4 scores boosted him into third place and on the 250 A history books.
35. Open Skill
Marshal Weltin welter the pack in the Open Skill class as well. Leaving the track with a pair of 1-1’s, Ubly, Michigan’s Weltin confidently secured yet another title for the week. Cody McCulloch ripped his #67 machine to second place at Oak Hill just ahead of third place Juanma Esquerre with 4-3 and third overall.
The Boy from La Moille Chase Sexton set the course ablaze in the 250 B class. Winning his heat and moto one, Sexton’s 1-2 results would be all he needed for the big overall win in 250 B. Felix Lopez continued the consistency locking down second overall again just ahead of Sean Cantrell who would ride to 2-3 results to third overall on the week.
Felix Lopez finally put it all together and stole the show in 250 B/C. Bashing his way through the pack Felix would finish 3-2 as he continued to take the overall title. Georgia’s Tucker Maxwell ripped his Yamaha to 2-3 scores for second place overall. Third went to Sean Cantrell who was blazing the Oak Hill podium all week long. Sean’s win in the final moto with an earlier fifth helped boost him into third overall for the event.
