earl May: SenIor 45+ / MaSterS 50+
Kade Johnson of Salt Lake City, utah ripped his way to 1-2 finishes ultimately locking up the 51cc 6-7 Limited title. Second overall was Aubrey, Texas native Hayden Cline with Sam Garroutte Jr. busting out 5-3 scores for third overall.
Garrett Marchbanks marched his way to a March win at Freestone. Stomping the Supermini 2 13-16 class, Marchbanks would go 2-1 to steal himself the title. Marcus Phelps of Florida went on to finish second place with 7-2 scores. Jarrett Frye rounded out the podium putting the #34 bike in third overall.
Earl “the Pearl” May stuck his #82 Team Green ride in the
only place its familiar with... the front of the pack. Going 1-1 May beat out a hard charge
from Don Bisceglia who finished second with 2-2 results. Third place in the ever so talented Vet ranks was none other than #62 Wild Whispern Smith.
In a class where each competitor possesses years of motocross knowledge, it’s sometimes anyone’s game. Earl May came out big in the Masters 50+ class yielding 1-1 results ahead of the 2-2 charge put on by Rich Neiheiser in second place and Jeff Gauger in third. With an amazing record in amateur motocross, expect more gnarly finishes out of Earl May in the season to come.
