#58 James Decotis- Decotis had another steady showing at round 4 in
Oakland. Although we were sure that Jimmy D and the Geico Honda were expecting much more than 9th place in the main event. The Rippa would cross the finish line in his heat race in 6th position behind Noreen and Mellross until the mid way marker. Decotis would drop a position to Colt Nichols but followed the #69 around Noreen into 6th place and was making his way up to Mellross to make the pass for 5th on the last lap. Jimmy D was looking for a repeat holeshot in the main event like he did at round 3. Unfortunately Decotis would come around in 12th place at the end of lap 1 leaving himself with a lot of work to do if he wanted to finish in the top 5 where he belongs. Jimmy would struggle with making the moves early on in the race but with some luck from a crash from Jordon Smith and a pass on Cole Thompson, Decotis was able to secure a top 10 finish.
