Domino's Now Has Its Own Wedding Registry

Domino’s is known for its outside-the-box market- ing, including drone delivery in New Zealand and an ad campaign in which the company admitted that its pizza wasn’t very good. The company also has a slick ordering app that prompted a CNBC stock guru to suggest that Domino’s may be more of a tech company than a pizza chain.
In its latest move, the company has created its own wedding registry. Registering at domi- nosweddingregistry.com l ets pizza-loving couples stock their wedding wish list with Domino’s menu items instead of fine
china or a new toaster.
Friends and family can choose from a variety of pizza-related gift choices. Examples of gift pack- ages include “Thank You Card-a-thon,” "Bust Out the Fine China,” and “The Wedding Night.” Guests can also pur- chase a catered bache- lorette party for $60 or a $15 “Married by Chill” pizza.
"Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so we wanted to give recently- engaged couples that are passionate about pizza the chance to reg- ister for something they both truly love as much as their partner," said Jenny Fouracre, Domino's spokesperson.
"Choosing wedding gifts can be a daunting process, espe- cially if couples can't agree on what to register for. Our reg- istry aims to bring couples together over their shared love of pizza,” she added.
The service targets “couples that pre-
fer delicious melty cheese to crystal gravy boats,” the company said on its website. The goal of the registry is “to make it easier for people to ask and receive some- thing that they’ll really use,” said Fouracre.
Once the happy couple has chosen their gifts, they can share their wish list with family and friends on
Facebook, Twitter, or with a unique URL. Guests can also search for a registry by entering the bride and groom’s names and wedding date. All gifts are deliv- ered to the couple in the form of Domino’s e-gift cards.
