A married couple, eager to start a family, were informed they've been having sex incorrectly for four years - the reason behind their inabil- ity to conceive.
The unnamed couple, aged 26 and 24, sought professional help after failing to
get pregnant despi te regular inter- course. However, medical profes- sionals were alarmed when they discovered the wife was still a virgin, with her admitting that sex
was "usually painful" for her.
Obstetrician Liu Hongmei shared: "The couple were very young, the man 26 and the woman 24. They were very healthy, but, despite being married for four years, couldn't conceive. Their family was giving them a lot of stress because of it."
During the consul- tation, Liu learned that the couple had regular sex, but the wife found the experience "unusually painful."
Initially suspecting a gynaecological
disease due to the woman's symp- toms, Liu was "shocked" to find out that the wife was still a virgin.
In a bizarre turn of events reported by China's Guiyang Evening Post, a doctor named Liu discovered that a couple had been mistakenly engag- ing in anal sex for four years, which explained their inability to con- ceive. After a revealing exami- nation, Doctor Liu provided the cou- ple from Bijie city with a sex-educa- tion handbook and "guidelines" to correct their course,
reports the Mirror.
