HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (KSNW) — A Canadian Walmart store is closed for a third day while police investigate the death of a woman whose body was found inside a walk-in oven. Halifax Nova Scotia Regional Police say they were called to the store at 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 19,
where the 19-year-old woman was found dead inside a walk-in oven in the bakery department of the store. The department says that they have not yet reached a point where the cause and manner of death
have been confirmed.
Halifax Regional Police say the investigation is com- plex, involving several part- ner agencies, and it could take a significant amount of time to determine how she died. They ask the public to be mindful of speculation about the cause of her death and the impact that could have on her family and friends.
The woman’s name has not been released. However, the CBC reports that the woman was a member of the local Sikh community.

Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Britain's Home Office issued an offi- cial passport for fictional character Paddington Bear after a request from the makers of the upcoming film Paddington in Peru.
Rob Silva, co-producer of the film, said he and his team contacted the Home Office asking for a replica passport to use in the movie.
"We wrote to the Home Office asking if we could get a replica, and they actually issued Paddington with an
official passport -- there's only one of these,"
Silva told the Radio Times.
The document bears Paddington's photo, as well as his June 25 birthday and his birth location in Peru.
"You wouldn't think the Home Office would have a sense of humor, but under official observations, they've just listed him as Bear," Silva said.
Paddington in Peru, the third film in the franchise, is scheduled to be
released Jan. 17, 2025.
