On their wedding night, the young bride approached her new husband and asked for $20 for their first love- making encounter. In his highly aroused state, her husband readily agreed.
This scenario was repeated each time they made love, for the next 30 years, with him thinking that it was a cute way for her to afford new clothes and other incidentals that she needed.
Arriving home around noon one day, she was sur- prised to find her husband in a very drunken state.
Over the next few minutes, he explained that his company had gone through a process of corpo- rate downsizing, and he had been let go - It was unlikely that at the age of 55, he'd be able to find anoth- er position that paid anywhere near what he'd been earning, and therefore, they were financially ruined.
Calmly, his wife handed him a
bank book which showed thirty years of deposits and interest total- ing nearly $1 mil- lion.
Then, she showed him ...
stock certificates issued by the bank which were worth over $2 mil- lion, and informed him that they were the largest stock- holders in the bank.
She explained that for 30 years, she had charged him for sex and these holdings were the results of her savings and investments.
Faced with evi- dence of cash and investments worth over $3 million, her husband was so astounded he could barely speak, but finally he found his voice and blurted out, "If I'd had any idea what you were doing, I would have given you all my business!".
A woman is at the funeral of her hus- band, everyone is going up to say kind words about him, when one man turns around to the wife and says,
“Would you mind ifiwentupand said a few words?”
She replied, “Of course not, please feel free to.” So the man walks up to the front of the church and says into the micro- phone, “Plethora.”and sits back down.
Once he gets back to his seat, the wife is in tears and she says, “Thank you so much, that means a lot.”
After a long, dry sermon, the minis- ter announced that he wished to meet with the church board after the service. The first man to arrive was a stranger.
“You misunder- stood my announcement. This is a meeting of the board of the church,” said the minister.
“That is why I am here,” said the man. “If there is anyone here today more bored than I am, I’d like to meet him or her.”

June 30 (UPI) -
- Washington State University is allowing those who want to see, but not smell, its famously stinky corpse flower the chance to see the plant in bloom via live- stream.
The corpse flower, scientifi- cally known as titan arum, was planted at
the school's Vancouver cam- pus in 2002 and first bloomed in July 2019.
The flower, dubbed Titan VanCoug, last bloomed in 2022, and the school announced the flower again bloomed Thursday and started to emit its signature smell, which has been compared to that of rotting flesh.
The school is inviting members of the public to visit Titan VanCoug at the school's Science and Engineering Building.
Those who can't make the trip, or don't want to submit them- selves to the smell, can see Titan
VanCoug on the school's live stream.
