PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Two students from the University of Pittsburgh are accused of violat- ing medical cadavers during an anatomy lab last month.
University of Pittsburgh Police say that Sonel Jimenez and Amay Gupta are each charged with one count of abuse of corpse after they improp- erly treated med- ical cadavers in a class at Victoria Hall.
According to police, on November 4, Jimenez was seen by multiple individuals allegedly using his fingers to vio- late a female cadaver and Gupta was reported by stu- dents for alleged- ly making inap- propriate com- ments while sticking his fin- gers inside a male cadaver's chest.
Police say that Jimenez admitted to touching parts of the female cadaver, saying
that he was curi- ous about it. According to police, Gupta admitted to offi- cers that he may have made an inappropriate comment during that time.
Both students told officers they were instructed to be respectful towards the bod- ies and that they are human beings.
Jimenez and Gupta each have a preliminary hearing sched- uled for next month.
Person Cited For Driving In HOV Lane With Inflatable Grinch

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — One person was cited for driving in a high-occupancy vehicle lane with an inflatable Grinch as a pas- senger, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The driver was on Interstate 10 at Avondale Boulevard in the Phoenix-metro area when an AZDPS trooper saw the "suspi- cious" passen- ger—and no one else aside from the driver—in the vehicle.
Driving on the HOV lane
requires at least two people to be in the vehicle. An inflatable Grinch does not count under these rules.
"While we appre- ciate the festive flair, this is illegal and the driver received a citation for their HOV vio- lation," said AZDPS.
