    Rohan Bush
(above) has
rejoined the
Board of the NZ
Ecolabelling Trust
alongside two new
Trustees. Previous
Trustee Rohan (2015-18) has returned to New Zealand from the UK. The
new Trustees are investment manager Cassie McAdams and brand marketing consultant Andrew Gair.
The Construction Sector Accord has just added several experienced industry and government professionals to the Accord Steering Group (ASG) and the Transformation Delivery Group (TDG).
Joining the ASG are: Ross Copland (CE, NZ Infrastructure Commission –
Te Waihanga); Nicole Rosie (CE, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency); and Judi Keith-Brown (President, New Zealand Institute of Architects).
Joining the TDG are: Kevin Lavery ) GM, Sector Consulting – Society of Local Government Managers); John Sneyd (GM, Building System Performance
– MBIE); Peter Murray (GM Major Projects & Advisory, NZ Infrastructure Commission); Duncan Kenderdine (Executive GM Strategy & Development, Downer NZ); and Chelydra Percy (CEO, BRANZ).
Daikin has
appointed two
new National
Sales Managers
and opened a
new branch in
Wellington. Gary
Felstead (right)
is the heat pump manufacturer’s new National Sales Manager (Residential & Light Commercial) and heads Daikin’s newly created Commercial & Applied Division for commercial and industrial engineering projects, while Richard
Creagh (right)
is its new Commercial Manager. The pair are two of 20 new staff the company has employed in the last year.

Chief Executive
of Engineering
New Zealand.
President Colin
Crampton says
of the current
Chief Executive of Manawatū District Council: “Richard is a seasoned leader who has developed good relationships with mana whenua and key stakeholders and delivered results for the council’s customers and communities.” He
holds a PhD in engineering and has a background in science and innovation. Richard takes up the role in November, succeeding Susan Freeman-Greene, the new Chief Executive of Local Government New Zealand.
     Kitchen & bathroom designers turn to video
IN LIEU OF being able to gather or travel during these interesting times, in September the NKBA cleverly revealed its 2020 Excellence in Design winners on YouTube.
2020 Supreme Kitchen Design winner was Chelsey Mathieson from Vekart in
the Bay of Plenty (photo above left), while Angelique Armstrong from Canterbury’s Angelique Armstrong Interiors took out the award for 2020 Supreme Bathroom Design (photo above right).
