the bar with industry-leading service.” On top of navigating the challenges of a global pandemic, Allegion NZ also completed its move into a new head office, warehouse and factory and this focus on local manufacturing allows the company “to increase efficiency with timely product deliveries, while staying close to our customers.”
MiTek New Zealand
Tony Castledine, GM Building Supply Channel, says MiTek is “Very humbled and appreciative of those merchants who have supported us over the year.” In a difficult year for all, MiTek has managed to maintain its service KPIs while adjusting to the challenges of Covid restrictions and unprecedented demand in supply. What does he feel makes MiTek’s brand special? “Being a New Zealand manufactured range of highly specified product with the assurance of being code compliant.”

“It’s pretty humbling that we’ve made such an impact during a difficult year. Proud of the sales team, CSOs and the stores’ staff,” says NZ Sales Manager Steve Williams, who cites “pretty good” stock levels, the roll out of masonry product and the new MultiOne range as the company’s top achievements in the last year. What makes the Bremick brand special? “Recognition from the trade that Bremick products are robust, fit for purpose, reliable and meet the standards required.”

3M NZ is “over the moon” to be nominated, says Christine Christie, Consumer Business Group Key Account Manager. “It’s been an incredibly challenging year for everyone.” The company’s best achievement? “Being there to support our key customers through the tough times and the good! Even with going in and out of lockdowns and many curve balls, we have been there on all levels and have done great things with both support office buying teams and the in-store teams.”
