Page 19 - The Tree of Happiness

The Elf is an interesting little fellow. I bet this is not the last time we see him. It seems to me that the Princess... I mean the Queen, is pretty desperate. She really wants the key to get into the Tree of Happiness. I can see a potential problem for the new Queen. She is so unhappy because of all the foolish stuff she is telling herself, that she is willing to do whatever the Elf tells her to do.
Do we really know if the Elf has the Queen’s best interest at heart? For all we know, he may be trying to trick her. I bet we will find that out in the second part of the story.
What is really interesting is how the Queen acted when he would not give her the key. When things did not go her way, she acted badly. She was not paying attention to whether she was having Good or Stinky Thinking. And as you know by now, not paying attention to your thinking can cause you some big problems.
So lets talk about the Queen and the Elf.

When the Elf told the Princess she must have the “Key” to get into the Tree of Happiness, what did she start telling herself?
When she thought that, how was she feeling? How did she act?
