Page 18 - Cando Cranes
P. 18
Why was it that the second crane did not believe the Elf’s suggestions? If you said Good Thinking, you are correct. The second crane listened to the Elf’s suggestions and evaluated them using his Good Thinking. He knew that there would be some dangers in this New World.
He knew that he would have to learn new things. He knew that there would be difficulties. He also knew that he could deal with all of these dangers and difficulties if he did his best.
That is the real difference between the two cranes in our story. The second crane was willing to recognize the real difficulties he would face and was confident that he could deal with them.
You can’t demand that your life should be easy, because it won’t. But you can recognize what you have to do to be successful, like learning how to make friends, studying your subjects and then doing them.
If you are willing to face life’s difficulties and
your fears, you can overcome them. If you can do this, you will be successful and happy like the Cando Cranes.
