I have noticed that sometimes, when you humans have to learn something difficult, you will stop paying attention and then make a mistake--like when you are doing your math homework.
You are going along doing every problem correctly and then you start making foolish mistakes. At first I thought, been taking those dumb pills again. But of course, I was wrong. You had just stopped paying attention. Of course, all you have to do is erase your mistakes and correctly do them again.
In our animal world, it is not that easy. When we stop paying attention, something really bad often happens. T hat is why I find the excuse that you humans use for those math problem mistakes so interesting, But my brain got tired. Then you act like that explains it and everything is okay.
Who wants a kid on their baseball team who will only chase a fly ball for ten feet? After running ten feet, this kid will stop and say, My feet are tired and sit down in the outfield.
