  PREFACE
The Omniscient Light of Great Spirit
Many, many moons ago, I began to search for spiritual meaning in life. The endeavor started not due to some great and lofty idea but a true need to heal my soul and find peace. I was always ‘too sensitive’ to the world around me. Through many challenges as a younger person, I traversed traditional pathways for my mental and emotional health. Ultimately, I was guided to the world of spir- ituality, metaphysics, dreams, and all things supernatural. Each time a piece of the spiritual world came into my awareness, I grabbed it like a hungry person at a feast!
Synchronicity was now in my favor as I leaned hard into this path- way of mystery and all things spiritual. All it took for me to go more deeply upon the path of experiential woo-woo learning was a profoundly accurate crystal ball reading at a psychic fair put on by the students of a metaphysical school. I remember listening to the woman giving this reading and thinking, “How in the world can she know these things?” As I spoke to her in bewilderment during the reading, she could see my curiosity as well as my wonderment as to how she knew these things about me. In the process, she told me, “You can learn to do this too.” “What are you talking about? There is no way I can do this.” I said out loud.
She continued to talk to me and tell me that I was born with these psychic abilities and that they are natural to each of us. I highly doubted this at the time. Yet, she went on to say that as we grow older, we begin to lose our natural, intuitive abilities when we are imprinted with the doubts and fears of our outer world and the peo- ple around us. When our parents tell us, “It was only a dream,” and
