After graduation I earned my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, married my first wife and moved to Maine. I was a police officer for 15 years. After my divorce I got custody
of my two boys and could no longer work nights. I started working for the Sheridan Corporation as their Safety Director. I earned my Bachelors Degree from Thomas College In Waterville, Maine.
In 1986, Brenda and I bought our home on Snow Pond (Messalonskee Lake) in Oakland, Maine. Snow Pond is one of the seven lakes comprising the Belgrade chain of lakes. We are just 17 miles from Augusta, the state's capital city. Due to medical challenges and age, I retired from Sheridan Corporation in 2012, got my Maine Registered Guide license and my commercial boat operators license, and opened my own summer business, Snow Pond Cruises and Historical- Tours. 2019 will be our 6th year, and it has been a blast.
