About a year after the move, we opened a business in the prestigious community of Wellington. I t was a good decision because the "Alligator Art Custom Framing & Gallery" was located in the center of the town, not far from The Winter Equestrian Festival. I t s proximity to the Festival brought many opportunities for us to share in the joys of victory. Amazing jockeys and horse owners would stop by looking to frame pictures of their champion horses, and/or Gold, Silver or Bronze medals. We were agog. I can honestly say, it was a fascinating and wonderful 20 year run.
We were fortunate enough to sell "Alligator Art & Gallery" and retire a couple of years ago. So...living the good life in paradise, (except for the summers)... Oy. So hot and humid, can't take it anymore... Last yr. we were in Boston and Vt. for a good 6 weeks. We're taking off for a couple months this summer, too- not only to get away from the oppressive heat, but to reunite with family and friends. Hopefully, NE will be cooler, this yr... not like last yr.
I married my second husband and love of my life, Mark Kellerman in August of 1981, Mark and I moved to Chicago, shortly thereafter- while he wasVP of Merchandising for a National Company.
We traveled to Hong Kong a lot during our early years together. I enjoyed touring & shopping, while Mark took care of business. Later, we would move to Buffala Grove, IL. where I opened my own, small business. T h e business was sold, five years later when we moved to Florida to be closer to my parents. Mark and I have been in Lake Worth for the past 23 years.
