     Dark Matter
shallow air swirls out of my body into the space
between me and you
space is dark matter
blinding stars too far
away to see but i have heard the stories
i don’t remember telling you my stories though you seem to know them all
our space is silent
you do not speak when you have nothing to say tendrils of soft breath
mine or yours?
i learned your stories from the maps on your palms traced in a language i only speak with you
black holes destroy by Nature why a sin to crave this oblivion? ultimate nothing
explorers, hope never to return seek beyond cosmic infinity can we find a place in the space between me and you?
