MILLFIELD SWIMMING
A BALANCED EDUCATION
One of the main focuses of the Millfield Swimming programme is developing the individual as a person, to
complement their training in the pool.
STUDENT ATHLETE SUPPORT
The Student Athlete Support team is led by key specialists
in Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition, Physiotherapy,
Psychology Guidance and Performance Analysis. They
enable pupils to optimise training, prevent and recover
from injuries, manage pressure and emotions, and to utilise
technology, insight and analysis.
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
Pupils in both Millfield Prep and Millfield can access two
Strength & Conditioning sessions every week, which
consist of group sessions with multiple coaches and one to
one sessions for Sixth Form competitive swimmers. This
training is focussed on developing the movement and
mobility skills to help swimmers to advance their abilities
