        Beginning January 2022 our agency changed from a monthly newsletter to a
        monthly blog, commentary, or article. Each month a topical article is published in
        the areas of Expert Legal Investigations and Medicolegal Consultations of Personal
        Injury, Negligence and Death in Civil, Criminal and Probate litigation.

        New Commentary: Denying Investigative Photographs to Families
                                          This month we follow-up our January commentary: Evidentiary Photographs -
                                          Originals vs. Everything Else (www.DeathCaseReview.com/afi-llc-blog/evidentiary-
                                          photographs-originals-vs-everything-else).

                                          Too often, specific to photographs and videos, there is a statutory and/or official
                                          agency’s policy denying release due to potential public harm. Here we discuss
                                          reasons for the policies, and problems created.

        The first persons who should have access to the evidence of a death investigation is the family.
