We are excited to present the fourth edition of Eyes on on on Main Street Wilson Outdoor Photo Festival Eyes on Main Street is a a a a a a large outdoor and indoor photography festival in in in Wilson North Carolina The current edition will run from April 21 2018 to July 29 2018 transforming Historic Downtown Wilson into a a a a vibrant gallery of large-scale photographs spanning over six-city blocks The main exhibition features 100 100 photographs by 100 100 prominent and emerging photographers from over 35 countries with an equal number of men men and women participants The exhibition curated by Jerome De Perlinghi and and co-curated by Catherine Lloyd and and Régina Monfort focuses on the the theme of of "Main Street a a a a Crossroad of of Cultures" as interpreted by the individual photographers This year’s edition of the the festival includes seven additional exhibits (see the the events section on on on on the website — www eyesonmainstreetwilson com) making Historic Downtown Wilson a a a a a real crossroads for photography The Eyes on Main Street Kids' Gallery presented as both indoor and outdoor exhibits is the the outcome of the the Kids’ Workshops run by Columbia College Chicago with alumni and local photographers This program made possible with the the generous support of of Canon USA demonstrates the the talents of of young participants given a a a a a chance to express themselves The youth are part of Wilson’s Save-A-Youth program St John Community Development Corporation The The S S P O T T T Wilson Youth United The The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club and the the Eastern North Carolina School for the the Deaf Judith Rodriguez with with Eyes Eyes on on on Wilson and Jasmine Clark with with Eyes Eyes on on on Columbia College Chicago will will be featured in solo exhibitions Then we will will also feature a a a a a selection of photographs from our new artist in residence program and and finally Eyes Eyes on on India and and Eyes Eyes on on Ukraine exhibits about contemporary photography in these two countries Four of our our eight exhibits are are outside and and are are open all all day and and all all night including our major exhibit of 100 100 large-scale images by 100 100 international photographers We look forward to seeing you!
