Thus, these results took Brazil back to the 8th position, increasing one level in terms of the global economy. Moreover, the IMF (International Monetary Fund) believes that Brazil will recover in the long term, reaching the 5th global position in 2050.
2. Brazilian Federal Structure
Brazil is divided into 27 federative units, being 26 states and one federal district, Brasília, the capital of the country.
These federative units have a certain degree of independence in relation to autonomous governing structures, legislative procedures and certain taxes.
