Hi there. If you’re reading this now, it means you had some part to play in bringing it into the world, from dream to concept to reality. At the very least, you inspired or encouraged me at some point on the journey. On some level, you also identify with its source material and related content.
Whatever your role, what you now hold in your hands is the culmination of two years of work...of starting over, pushing hard and never settling. At least thus far on my creative journey, I suppose I’d call it my Opus.
But no man or woman is an island unto themselves. It takes a village, and we are always better together.
Without the valuable contributions of time, talent and passion of a select few individuals, this magazine simply would not be. To those people I am forever grateful... you most of all, Hailey.
So I encourage you to find
an afternoon, preferably in the sunshine, with a pet on your lap. Turn off your phone, grab your favorite chair and beverage and time-travel with me. I hope you enjoy.
