מפרט: רמג דף, 20.5 ס״מ. רקע: מהדורה ראשונה של ספר השו״ת שכתב רבי משה אלשיך שנדפסה סמוך לאחר פטירתו על ידי בנו רבי חיים אלשיך. חישוב הפרט של שנת ההדפסה נעשה מהתיבות ‘ממשה עד משה לא קם כמשה׳. מאפיינים יחודיים: כמה הערות למדניות ארוכות בכתב יד, חלק מהן חתומות מפ״ה. רבי משה פארדו [תק״ע בערך – תרמ״ח] היה נכד רבי יצחק אבולעפיה מצד אמו ונינו של החיד״א מצד אביו. נולד בירושלים והיה דיין אצל הראשון לציון רבי אברהם אשכנזי, שנתן הסכמה לספר שלפנינו. בשנת תר״ל יצא בשליחות לצפון אפריקה, ובדרכו חזרה עבר באלכסנדריה ונתמנה לרב המקום. חיבר גם ספר “צדק ומשפט׳. מצב: בינוני-טוב. שיקום אמנותי בשולי השער ובמס׳ דפים אחרונים. בדף האחרון פגיעה בטקסט. כתמים. כריכת חצי עור חדשה.

Unique Features: A number of lengthy handwritten scholarly .מפ״ה glosses, some are stamped
Rav Moshe Pardo [c. 1810 - 1888] was a grandson of Rabbi Yitzchak Abula a on his mother׳s side and great-grandson of the Chida on his father׳s side. Born in Jerusalem, dayan with the Rishon L׳Tzion Rabbi Avraham Ashkenazi, who gave an approbation to the book before us. He went on a mission to North Africa in 1870, and on his way home passed through Alexandria where he was appointed rabbi. He also authored Tzedek U׳Mishpat.
Condition: Moderate- ne. Professional restoration to the mar- gins of the title page and some of the last pages. Damage to text on the last page. Stains. New semi-leather binding.

מפרט: צט [צ״ל: צח] דף, 19 ס״מ. בסוף הדפים לא נכרכו כסדרם.
מאפיינים יחודיים: מהדורה ראשונה של הפירוש הידוע והחשוב של המהרש״ל על ספר שערי דורא, לקדמון רבי יצחק מדורא. בהקדמה כותב המדפיס שמכיון ובעלי הדפוס הם אינם יהודים, הרי שהם מדפיסים גם בשבת, ואז נופלות טעויות הדפסה ואין מי שיתקן. באותה שנה נדפס גם
פירוש אחר מהמהרש״ל לשערי דורא. קיים כיתוב בשער, ומדבקה בשער.
מצב: טוב. כתמי זמן. חיזוקים בשער בדף שאחריו ובדף אחרון. כריכת קלף נאה.

Speci cations: 99 [should be: 98] leaves, 19 cm. e leaves at the end were not bound in the correct order.
Unique Features: First edition of the Maharshal׳s famous and important commentary on the book Sha׳arei Dura, by the early sage Rabbi Yitzchak of Dura. e printer writes in the intro- duction that as the owners of the printing press are not Jewish, they print on Shabbat as well, and then printing errors occur and there is no one to correct them. A di erent commentary of the Maharshal to Sha׳arei Dura was printed in the same year.
Inscription and sticker on the title page.
Condition: Fine. Aging stains. Reinforcements on the title page and the subsequent and last leaves. Pleasant parchment binding.
