מאפיינים יחודיים: בהקדמת הספר מביא המחבר שבחים ליצירה בשפה העברית, ומבקר את הכותבים בעברית קלוקלת וכותבים ספרות עברית “מלאים תעתועים מעשה עוגבים ודברי חושך״, הוא מספר את תולדותיו ומצוקותיו שהביאו אותו, בעצת חבריו, לקבץ את כתביו לכדי ספר זה,
ומבאר את הטעם לבחירת שם הספר.
מאיר שאן, בן יעקב שמחה ומרת ריזל, וחתנו של הרב “התורני והרבני המופלא...מו״ה משה אונגאר זצ״ל״. כפי שעולה מתוך ספרו, נחשף המחבר ללמודי השפה העברית והחל לכתוב בה שירים ומכתבים בהשפעת בחורים שלמדו אתו בישיבה. המחבר היה,ש״ץ ושו״ב במשך שנים רבות בשירות קהילתו. לעת זיקנותו, בשל הוא פוטר בטענות שווא ולא מצא מקור מחיה, עד שכמעט הגיע לפת לחם. בנוסף, נותרה לו בת שלא היו בידו אמצעים להשיאה. תמונה מופיעה לפני עמוד השער.

סמלי חיילות צה״ל.
טקסט ההגדה חובר במיוחד עבור יום העצמאות. הדמיון למבנה של ה׳הגדה של פסח׳ המקורית, לא רק בצורה החיצונית אלא אפילו שתיית ארבע כוסות עורר ויכוח נוקב במדינת ישראל הצעירה, ודרישה מצד הציבור הדתי לגנוז
את ה׳ההגדה׳ הזו, ואכן מהדורה זו נגנזה. נדיר.
מצב: טוב מאוד. כרוך במעטפת נייר צבעונית מקורית. פגם קטן בחלק במפה בדף הכריכה האחורית.

Unique Features: Description of the War of Independence and the establishment of the State of Israel in the style of the Passover Haggada, for Independence Day. Written in a poetic, literary style. Many black and white photographs from the begin- ning of the state. One page features all IDF emblems.
e text of the haggada was created especially for Yom – ׳azmaut. e similarities to the original‘Passover Haggada׳Ha not just in format, but also including the consumption of four cups of wine – created a piercing controversy within the young State. e religious community demanded that the Haggada be destroyed, and this edition was eventually retracted. Rare.
Condition: Very ne. Bound in an original, colored jacket bind- ing. Part of the map on the back binding leaf has a small stain.

Unique Features: In the introduction, the author praises cre- ativity in the Hebrew language, and criticizes those who wrote in inferior Hebrew and write Hebrew literature“Full of delusions, works of wooers and matters of darkness,״ he tells of his history and distress which brought him, at the advice of his friends, to collect all his writings into this work, and explains the reason for the name of the book.
Meir She'en, son of Yaakov Simcha and Mrs. Raizel, son-in- law of Rabbi“Wonderous Torani and rabbinic ... Rabbi Moshe Ungar, ztz״l.״ As arises from the book, the author was exposed to learning the Hebrew language and began to write poems and letters in it under the in uence of youths who learned with him in yeshiva. He was an author, cantor and slaughterer many years in the service of his community. In his later years, after he was red due to false claims and found no source of livelihood, he came almost to the point of having only a loaf of bread. Also, he still had a daughter left and was without means to marry her o . A picture appears before the title page.
