רקע: רבי דוד דייטש [תקט״ז-תקצ״א] תלמיד הנודע ביהודה, היה מגדולי רבני הונגריה וידידו של בעל החתם סופר. היה חריף ומפולפל, וחידושיו בתורה נבעו כמעיין המתגבר, את הגיונות לבו וחידושיו אשר חידש אחרי הדפסת ספריו, כתב בשולי הטפסים שהיו ברשותו, ויש בזה מה שאין בזה.

Speci cations: 22 leaves, approximately 24 cm. Lacking title page.
Unique Features:  roughout the book are  fteen comments in the author׳s handwriting, mainly long scholarly comments.  e author sent the book to the city of Hebron, as is written in his handwriting on the  yleaf. Hence, most of his comments are in block handwriting.
Background: Rabbi David Deutsch [1756-1831], disciple of the Noda B׳Yehuda, among the most prominent Hungarian rabbis and friend of the Chatam Sofer. He was sharp and insightful, and his novellae  owed like an over owing spring. He recorded thoughts and novellae that arose after his books were printed in the margins of the copies in his possession, and what is in one is not in the other.
Condition: Fine. Aging stains. Simple binding.

Unique Features:  e  rst edition of Rabbi Shlomo Kluger׳s important books on tractate Nedarim and the laws of nedarim. Complete copy with all the leaves, including leaves 1-9 which were printed after the completion of the printing of the  rst part and are not found in all copies.  ey were bound at the beginning of the book in the copy before us.
Long scholarly glosses on the  rst leaf, as an addition to the printed content, in the handwriting of the author Rabbi Shlomo Kluger.
Background: Rabbi Shlomo Kluger [1785-1869] one of the great scholars of Galicia and one of the foremost rabbis of his time, known as rabbi of Brody where he lived for  fty years, despite never o cially serving as its rabbi. He had a tremendous in u- ence on communities throughout the Jewish world. He wrote many books and responded in thousands of halachic responsa.
