ENLIGHTENMENT REASON is a “ratio” or rational thinking that is one sided in its explorations, explanations and investigation of an object through empiricism and reductionism. 2. There is a loss of information, understanding, judgment because of specific biases that arise in the results of how one is using reason and for what agenda or worldview one has in mind. 3. Reason can not cut out aspects of inquiry because of their prejudices towards a Transcendent truth or moral principle. 4. Reason that rejects truth, goodness and being because of a narrow definition of what knowledge is distorts truth and goodness
