   ▪ 1. Faith and reason complement one another as a unity in the ways of human knowing in our world. We can not develop knowledge without one or the other 2. They are two ways or methods by which we look at the world, reality ,meaning and freedom They are man’s perspective of the whole person as searches to grasp the world in sense         ▪       ▪ - perception, intellect or reason 3. Socrates puts this question in a  simple statement, How should I live? What am I responsible for and what ought I to do? This question requires spirituality (Faith) and my capacity to reason because both are fused in the unity of the human person.
