Moving Arrangements
Keep in mind movers can get booked up fast espe- cially towards the end of the month. So leave youself plenty of room and reserve ahead of time. You might want to consider a cleaning crew to come by before move-in.
Change of Address:
Having your addressed changed sooner than later leaves time to enjoy your new home.
Property Insurance:
Arrange for home insurance before closing and re- quest a proof of insurance at your financial institution in advance.
Service & Utilities:
Including phone, internet, cable, gas, electricity, wa- ter, rental agreements. Don’t forget to cancel the ser- vices at your old address.
Schools:
Inform your children’s old and new schools about the move and arrange any necessary record transfers.
