Let us first look at the importance of dharma.
The Importance of Dharma
Dharma is righteousness or correct action centered in human values and aligned with our conscience. Dharma is crucial if an individual, a family, or a community is to live harmoniously
and peacefully. Swami says that misery is rampant in society today because man has lost sight of his own value. Not until man understands his true worth will he understand the significance of anything else. Therefore, establishing human values in ourselves and in society is an important way of finding meaning in life and overcoming grief and anxiety.
The importance of practicing dharma is certainly seen in the family. When members behave truthfully and lovingly, then family life is precious and peaceful. When a family is infected with selfishness, greed, and anger then all family members
