Gratitude for Our Guide and Guardian
How fortunate we are to have the supreme authority, the embodiment of pure peace and boundless love, to be our guide and guardian. Swami has come during a dark age when many are confused and lost. He has come with a love that gives us direction and makes us whole and happy. I pray that we immerse ourselves in his love and with dedication, discipline, and discrimination, become bright instruments of his love and dharma.
Thank you, Swami, for being such a clear, bright, loving light that illuminates our minds and dispels the darkness. Let us immerse ourselves in your love, melt in your love, merge in your love, and become one with you.
Do not posit distance between you and me. Do not interpose the formalities of the guru-friend relationship or even the aitudinal distinctions of the God-devotee relationship between you and me. I am neither guru nor God. I am you, you are I, that is the truth. There is no distinction. That which appears so is the delusion. You are waves, I am the ocean. Know this and be free, be divine.
