Literally “Song of God.” It is the portion of the Mahabharatha that is a dialogue between Arjuna, one of the Pandava brothers, and Krishna.
Bhagavatha
An ancient holy text that connotes three sections of knowledge: 1) the glory and majesty of God’s incarnations, 2) the names of those who are fully devoted to God, and 3) the intimate relationship between God and the Godly. Vyasa composed this devotional text at the suggestion of Sage Narada.
