6. Bring Sai into the Community. Man reaches God through society. By bringing love for God into the world by practicing right action (dharma) and serving the divine being in everyone, we experience God’s love. This love develops and strengthens society and ourselves and leads us to the experience of oneness.
7. Accept the Purification Process. Practicing dharma makes us face trials and tribulations that purify the mind and heart. We must overcome laziness and inconveniences, deal with egotistical people and with our own egos, and confront adversity and failures. In addition, we are challenged with tests to release ourselves from false ideas and concepts about who we are (such as it relates to money, power, and position). Understanding and accepting this process helps us deal with suffering and pain.

8. Transcend Suffering. Sai Baba teaches us how to let go of pain and transcend the suffering that accompanies purification so that the process can proceed to oneness with Him.
Swami has given us tools to help with the detachment process. Foremost, is his love, which melts all sorrow. Devotion to God expands our ability to love. Swami frequently refers to the one-pointed love of the cowherd maids (gopis) toward Krishna as an example of the kind of
