We were able to do park ministry in Batangas working with many neighborhood children, provided soccer balls and food for 2 months at one orphanage and then were able to work with a local pastor and his wife with a Slum Ministry who had lost their funding that morning. We were able to provide funding to feed the 90 slum children for 110 days. Later, we were also able to provide a Micro-Finance Loan to get this Pastor and his wife started with a Mushroom Farm where they have taught many families how to plant, harvest, package and sell a variety of mushroom products, thereby allowing them the dignity of earning a living for their families.
