pon entering Dublin's Trinity College there was an air of excitement that rushed to greet me. This wasn’t your ordinary Thursday, this Thursday in particular was a celebration of Bedlam
of his outstanding performance.
Dublin's 5th Birthday, which saw Dance DJ legend MrPatrickToppingplayanarrayofdifferentvenues across Dublin City in a one-day city take over. This included a glorious stint about Dublin beginning at Trinity College, swinging by UCD Boat-Party, then on to the famous Guinness Store House and finally concluding at District 8.
It was then time to prepare himself for his final show stopping performance at the legendary District 8. As we pulled up the venue the crowd festooned the footpath outside in anxious anticipation of entry for Patrick Toppings Thursday Night DublinTakeOverfinale.
As I walked through the campus , I was led by the sound of faint music to a quirky tent which was surrounded by buzzy students dancing in the mid evening sun to funky beats and of course, Mr. Topping himself doing what he does best. The crowed whistled and cheered for Patrick's heart felt performance, each track careful selected, Patrick receiving great adulation for his remix of "Dem A Pree".
Having spent the day with Patrick and his team it was evident that he is a true gentleman who works extremely hard at his craft and is absolutely focused on his fans and followers. The day over all was spent sharing moment's and making memories with toe tapping fans across Dublin City in an exclusive one day take-over. It is clear to see why he has earned such an honorable reputation in the music scene. A day I truly enjoyed and I look forward to Patrick's next visit to Ireland.
I was chuffed when I received an invite by Patrick and his team to join them personally on the Take Over Tour. Having played a blinder at Trinity, we then headed off in search of the next take-over location which was an intimate boat party organised by UCD, located on the River Liffey. Patrick once again educated the students with his fierce DJ skills, funky house music meshed with tech-like vibes and was even presented with an Award from the UCD Students for his performance.

After accepting his award, it was time to head towards the iconic Guinness Store House Gravity Bar for what could only be described as a once in a life time event, surrounded by Dublin's eye catching panoramic views and twinkly city lights seemed to dance in the background to the beat of the music.
Having experienced pulling his own pint and hearing the tall tales and history of Guinness, Patrick then took to the decks and wowed the crowd once again who clearly enjoyed every moment
His set was flawless to say the least, delivering a raw techno vibe in this iconic warehouse setting. Each track bounced from speaker to speaker and filled the room with heavy industrial sounds which held the crowd in focus for the night upon the dance floor.
