BEST MARKETING TOOL YOU KNOW OF AND WHY?
Hard work, good social skills and always giving 100% wherever you play, be it at a small party or major festival. A lot of guys see a quick route to the top these days through marketing without out the substance to back it up. Need to learn your trade.
There’s always a lot of press centred around the difficulties within the music industry and gaining success. Where there times you wanted to give up?
I did give it up, for a long time. As well as some personal difficulties, I just fell out of love with it and became cynical, so I decided to do something else. When I returned and played my first set back, I felt that spark again and it was a great feeling.
Classics set or current and why?
John Kelly as he was my mentor really and still inspires me to this day with his give it all attitude. I'd have to go with his Carl Cox just for sheer talent and enthusiasm. To be still relevant and at the top of his game after all this time is quite incredible.
Where do you see the scene in 5 years?
Who knows. I don't plan too far ahead these days. Hopefully there's still a place for me somewhere. I'd say the scene keeps moving and growing so there will always be a new direction or genre to carry on the torch.
Advise to everyone on anything and everything!
Work hard, be positive and enjoy it. It goes way too quick.

I generally play classics nights, but rarely play original tracks. It keeps it interesting for me and those old tracks have been worn out. I love new music and still buy a ton of it, though don't get much chance to play it. I always drop a new track into my set at classics nights and there's always a postiive reaction.
If you were planning your last gig and you had to choose two artists to play back to back with, who would they be (dead or alive)?
