Nutty T [UK] - Hard Dance & Hard Style
MUSIC REVIEWS
Notorious Two - Gangsta's Paradise [Fusion] - Zone Top Tune - 10/10
This track comes from the Netherlands label Fusion Records.
Notorious Two is a duo of The Pitcher & Lady Faith they are both known for their raw edged style and this is no exception, the track hits you with an array of hollow kicks and a screaming screeches that just awesome.
It starts off with a reverbed chopped kick and snares that drops to a really deep vocal. It then ends up dropping in with a massive modulated screaming screeches.
The piano in the break and female vocals are out of this world and is what makes the track for me. It then proceeds to build to a barrage of kicks and screeches which can only be described as incredible.
This is an awesome slab of Rawstyle which surprised me a lot, I did have my doubts when I saw the title because Coolio - Gangsters Paradise is a masterpiece, but
all in all this is a great track.

Mrotek - Substance Abuse [DWX Anarchy] - Zone Recommended Tune - 9/10
Mrotek hails from America and debuts on Dirty Workz Anarchy and brings us this absolute killer of a track.
The track is hard as nails combining Metal and Hardstyle. The tune starts off with an intro filled up of chopped kicks and screaming vocals.
It then hits into which can only be described as a demonic presence with dark atmospheric pads and deep booms. The screaming vocal enters bringing in a big Virus saw lead. It continues with LFO's on the vocals and building to an almighty screechfest.
The breakdown bring the darkness into the fray again with that massive saw lead, until it builds to an almighty screeching climax.
Keep an eye out for Mrotek this guy is definitely a talent that is going places.

Polish Artist Atomic makes his way to NTraxx Black with his track entitled 'First Shot' combining both Hardstyle and elements of Hard Trance.
The track starts with some great percussive shuffles and filtered beats, proceeding to build with some great atmospheric noises, reminiscent of the Tracid Traxxx sound.
It then drops to a massive kick and bass onslaught that is just pounding with a great drive.
The track then drops into an atmospheric array of sweeps, dark noises and filtered saws, accompanied by a creepy melody which just adds to the atmosphere.
It starts to build with a big snare fill and mental beeping noises and some sirens which leads to a unique but banging climax. This is definitely an act to keep your eye on.

Scary Clowns - Folly [Loverloud] - Zone Rating - 7/10
The Scary Clowns are back again with this pounding reverse bass track on Loverloud.
The track starts with a kick and some manic percussion and atmospheric hits that builds nicely to an unexpected music box that cuts to a massive reverse bass.
It then drops to the breakdown which hits in again with the music box and some some nice melodic action. It then picks up with a big distorted 'Are You Crazy?' vocal, with some mad laughing vocal chops and kicks back in with the big reverse bass.
The track then adds some nice percussion and early style screeches and acid stabs that are well on point, which keeps the energy and the drive of the tune flowing nicely.
This track works really well and it will definitely get supported in future sets.
