London, I realized he went to London that last trip, on business he’d said. He was meeting Mr. Stapleton, it all started to fall into place. The pictures of Dublin Rex’s mother he had sent them to her.
The day passed in a blur all little things about Tony that I had ignored or never even noticed all started to come together. I had been a fool.
Rex came over the next day concerned. He rang a few times yesterday to check on me, but I had fobbed him off telling him I just needed the day and to come over today. ‘I’m okay I have to explain something to you’, I could feel my heart thumping in my chest I felt like I was going to faint, ‘come sit down’.
