6 – Arkanoid – Get A Super!!! Disco Magic UK – 1993 (Electric Choc Remix)
I dropped this belter at Reunion in the now closed down Kitchen nightclub Dublin and believe me it went down an absolute barnstormer! Electric Choc on the remix here and right from the start it sets the mood and rocks the place. It has everything from top end piano breaks to vocals that grab you by the scruff and drags you along its rumbling basslines, a quality track that takes pride and place in the collection and I love playing it out... worth every penny if you can get your hands on a copy you won’t let it go !

7 – S.A.S – Amber Groove – Final Vinyl – 1992 (Toxic Hi-Jack Mix)
Also released on Distinctive and DFC this has to get a mention! If not in this month’s Retro Review then it was going to come up eventually... I’m sure for our International readers that this is as much a part of clubbing history as right here on our Irish shores, what more can you say about this track that hasn’t already been proven on the dancefloor since its breakthrough in 1992. I’m pretty sure nearly every mix tape from Sasha to Vertigo, Daz Willot, DJ Welly the lot had this week in week out in their sets, a cracking vinyl to have and deserves all the plaudits from you lot ! “Groove Me Everybody Shake Yo Body “Respect!

8 – The Daou – Surrender Yourself – Columbia Records 1992 (Ballroom Mix)
Massive track from New York to the UK and across the underground, with its repeated organ like synth stabs that prevail out behind a rolling bassline and a haunting “surrender yourself” female vocal throughout.... I heard this on a Junior Vasquez mix from The Sound Factory in New York and later it was included in Global Undergrounds 033 in Rio mixed and complied by Layo & Bushwacka – All in on this one... A must in the collection and once again can be picked up for next to nothing... Hidden Gem !

9 - AntiCappella - 2√231 – Underground Records - 1991
I always have to laugh when someone asks me the name of this, the synth is instantly recognizable as is the vocal... I always just tell them it’s a white label bootleg! Instead of trying to explain it’s the square root of two hundred and thirty one..... Hahaha...I’m sure you’ll agree J joking aside, this Italian production is a guaranteed roof lifter and does damage wherever it’s dropped! Get On It! Dynamite!

10 - Mukkaa – Buruchacca – Limbo Records – 1993
What a track! Driving progressive monster once again on Limbo records and once it kicks in it nails you to the wall! Spun by all the top jocks from 93 onwards I dropped this in the Button Factory recently and the place went off the scale! “Gonna Be Gonna Be Gonna Be alright “Smashing!!!!!!!
