Who’s the man behind the Secret DJ in Ireland?
Eoin Long is an Irish DJ / Producer and Director of an innovative company called LKM Media, who got his first set of decks when he was 16 years old, and by the age of 21 had moved across the pond to DJ in New York City, where he spent the next 2 years honing his craft before moving back to Dublin in 2003 to set up his Pro Tools Studio. He also set up his own label called one2many records and released all his popular EL edits on it.
He spent the next 5 years engrossed in the production side of his sound and produced a number of tracks. His most popular track was the EL edit of Barack Obama’s speech in Dublin which made number 1 in the iTunes world music chart. In 2008 he moved to Ibiza for a brief spell but realized it was ‘the right place at the wrong time’. And headed back to Dublin and continued DJ-ing and producing and began researching for his next venture, a new company called LKM music & media. He
partnered up with a leading UK tech and music company called ‘Secret DJ’ that has specialized in designing music profiles and strategies for award winning global brands.
What is the ‘Secret DJ’?
It’s basically a user friendly simple and clear free downloadable App platform from ITunes, that allows business’s and venues to communicate music, promotions and events directly to their customers smart phone devices, which allows them to engage with their clients directly through social media. It also lets customers know what music is playing in any venues that are signed up to this, and if you "like" any songs the user can tell their Facebook friends and Twitter followers what they are listening to and where; the app then directs them to the venue and the user. How cool! When the customers arrive they log-in and compete for the venue's VIP title as the Jukebox allows customers to choose music playing straight from their phone (using bespoke playlists hand-picked and
stored on the Revolution hardware).
Events and promotions are communicated directly to customers.

In 2014 he has continued in his innovation by setting up his latest company with two other business partners called Artloops ltd who are creating an online social network platform for all artists to collaborate on projects and loop art anywhere in the world.
