You recently collaborated with
Robert Babicz, can you tell us how
that came about please?
Our ”Starblast” track collaboration together with my good friend Robert Babicz it's an old story around 2 years ago I started the track for a free download idea and after that when I send it to Robert he decided to re-edit it that's how it's become a single track which one you can hear now!
Was the workflow between you
something that you did in the same
studio or bouncing back and forth?
I live in Ukraine now Robert in Malta so It's was like an idea and many more things coming in the near future I hope all this situation with covid19 will be end soon!
Your label Dear Deer is one of the most respected labels in the progressive scene, you must be proud of how far it’s come since you first started it?
Thank you, I really can't believe that it is almost 7 years as the label moving forward. Many fantastic things happen in past and I hope after this year we would be stronger, at this stage, it’s hard for us, like for many in our industry, with the situation with covid19 but I think we will all become stronger! A lot of new names and nee music coming soon on our labels!
What releases have you got in the

look forward to?
After my collaboration single with Robert Babicz, we have already in a pre-order on Dear Deer fantastic release by Ukrainian rising star SHMN, he prepared for us a single track with Gabriel Lynch vocal called ”Solar Affair” is a space techno gem with soaring pads that take you up to the stars. Gabriel Lynch adds vocals that make you dream and the whole thing is serene and uplifting in subtle ways.
Also, release including Ten Walls remix he offers a
fine remix that is more spacious, spaced out, and cosmic, with long sustained pads and majestic keys all soothing the soul. I hope this release would be a summer hit!
With this current lockdown, how do
you think this will affect the
progressive house scene?
I can’t say exactly how it will be displayed on us! I believe that not only the progressive house scene will take damage from the current situation, we all need to remain positive because this is a temporary situation. First of all let’s stay safe!
What’s been some of your favourite
moments since you started the
label?
Hard to choose but for me personally any success of the label is always good memories for me - if the success of the release then everyone is happy with the artist, listeners and of course me and my team!
Are there some up and coming producers that have turned your head recently that you would recommend?
From my country I can totally recommend to check those names Aikon, Stas Drive, 8Kays and of course ARTBAT, all of them my good friends and very talented people who work hard every day!
It’s frustrating that we can’t travel at themoment,sowherewouldbethe one place you’d like to visit when this lockdown is over?
Really wanna meet some friends in Europe and fly on some warm and hot places for the rest. I hope all this situation with lockdown is over!
