Mid schoold, that’s what I am. New school have a lot to learn but they think they know everything, again no hate here, but when you’re 46 years old and played for 30 years you can look back and realize what’s right and wrong. I will always have a lot of respect for the 3 or 4 generations of Djs before me, they’ve started everything and they got stick in their own thing whatever it hapened, and they still there. respect.

I’ve only promoted my own parties and HoTL records parties, and it was a great experience and it’s gonna keep going, at the moment we did HoTL Miami, Ibiza, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Colombia and Mikonos, and some David Tort and friends in Miami and Barcelona as well, and it’s gonna keep going as soon as the pandemic situation ends up, that I hope it’s gonna be soon.
What have you been up to under
lockdown? Did you discover some
interesting things?
I was focused on family and my first album as David Tort, and I’m working also on my side band called Motel Boutique which is more post punk/synth wave based sound, really fun and it’s something I always wanted to do.

Everything, there’s always a moment in time or a minute in a night for that song whatever genre it is. I’ve started Acid House, then turned to Techno and finally discovered House Music in 1998 even if it was there since ever, I’ve just didn’t understood it right before, it’s a question of mind body and soul, and to be ready for the sound.
