ATLANTIC SPADEFISH (Chaetodipterus faber) < 90 cm / 3 ft  ounded sil er   od   ith dar   ars.  ar  ed es on lon  dorsal and anal  ns. Often found in small dense schools.
Atlantic Spade sh are commonly found in tight schools of a dozen or more, though schools of up to 500 have been recorded. They feed on plankton or small invertebrates from the reef.  uveniles are found in very shallow water, often swimming at an angle to mimic dead mangrove leaves.
