CARIBBEAN REEF SQUID (Sepioteuthis sepioidea) < 30 cm / 1 ft
 he most common s uid.  hin un ro en  n runs alon  the entire length of the body. Color is highly changeable.
ATLANTIC BRIEF SQUID (Lolliguncula brevis) < 13 cm / 5 in
 hort arms and tentacles on a com act  od .  o ered in tin   lac  s ots.  ounded  ns connect at the rear.
DIAMOND BACK SQUID EGG CASE (Thysanoteuthis rhombus  < 1.2 m / 4 ft

  o elon ated huntin  tentacles.  hort round  ns onl  towards the rear. Changes color rapidly. Mostly pelagic.
GRASS SQUID (Pickfordiateuthis pulchella) < 2.5 cm / 1 in  he smallest of the s uids.  ounded  ns do not connect at the rear. Found in seagrass beds and shallow reefs.
