The DCO Haiku Challenge also was born of our quest for “sudden enlightenment” for the whole of the DC office, which, all-in-all, seemed like a good thing. We issued our challenge on May 12th, and received entries within minutes. The first entry, submitted by David Douglass himself, highlighted the simplicity and power of the art form:
Haiku? Should I try? Why not? What have I to lose? Ain’t goin’ nowhere
From there, the entries kept rolling in.
This anthology captures more than 60 entries received between May 12th and May 18th. We hope you enjoying reading through them as much as we enjoyed curating them.
