Atmospheric Pressure
ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE: The pressure exerted by the weight of the atmosphere
Reffy: Table A (p. 1)
• The standard pressure in the atmosphere is 101.3 kPa (kilopascal) per 1 atm (atmosphere).
• In other words, there are 101.3 kPa in each atm.
How many kPa would 0.5 atmosphere be? 0.5 atm × 101.3 kPa = 50.65 kPa
