Kinetic Theory of Gases /Ideal Gas Laws
KINETIC THEORY OF GASES/IDEAL GAS LAWS: Theory that discusses the properties that an ideal gas should have
1. Gases are made up of small particles that are constantly and randomly moving in straight-line motion.
2. When two particles of gas collide (bump into each other), energy is transferred from one particle to the next.
3. Each gas particle has no volume.
(No volume is also called NEGLIGIBLE/INSIGNIFICANT VOLUME of gas.)
4.Gas particles have no attraction to each other. There are many Regents questions on this topic.
