Quantity of the Solute
• CONCENTRATED SOLUTION: There’s a lot of solute (compared to solvent).
• DILUTE SOLUTION: There’s a lot of solvent (compared to the solute). This is called a WEAK SOLUTION.
A concentrated solution is crowded.
I like my iced-coffee to be a concentrated solution with lots of coffee and sugar, not a dilute solution made mostly of water.
