Now, not everyone can tolerate the level of risk that I can, and it wasn't as if I didn't have options for housing my son and myself if the money didn't come through by December 1. I feel comfortable enough with money to risk it because I know there will always be more coming into my life. But too often people will put themselves in a situation where they're completely emotionally dependent on having the Universe provide exactly what they want when they want it because this gives them a false feeling of security. They'll tell themselves, If I get that house [or that job, or at least $10,000] before the end of the quarter, I'll be okay. Thinking in this way blocks the Universe from operating according to its timing and wisdom.
You're going to be okay no matter what happens, so be open to how the Universe responds to your vibration of abundance. Rather than attempting to micromanage the Universe, turn up the volume on positive feelings that allow you to be creative. My salesman client, Dave, and his boss explored new options for how to "sweeten the deal" and provide value for their customers-options they couldn't see when they were completely focused on achieving a specific dollar amount in sales by a certain date and were feeling fear and lack.
Once you've let go of your negative feelings and are experiencing trust in the Universe and its timing, you can leave the classroom and get moving. With enthusiasm and faith propelling you, you'll find it easier to take actions that will allow you to co-create with the Universe: You'll be able to pick up the phone and make a cold call, or do some research if you're not even sure where to start. You'll find the courage to go back to school, to admit you're lacking skills and start developing them or hire someone else who has them who can help you, or to consider a new career or a job change. Courage will come, and a wealth of possibilities will open up for you.
Even a strong magnet can't attract the smallest pin if that object is too far away. You have to either strengthen the magnet or move something-the pin or the magnet. If you vibrate positive emotions and act in accordance with your inner feelings of abundance, creativity, and trust, you'll be an even stronger money magnet. You'll find yourself moving closer to your goal and drawing in what you desire.
