THE LANGUAGE OF ABUNDANCE IS POWERFUL
When people's flow of abundance is reduced to a trickle or wealth is moving away from them instead of into their life, notice what they'll say: "This always happens to me!" or "Just when I was getting ahead!" or "I can't hang on to money-I've always been a spender." It may be true that they haven't managed money well and have repelled it in the past, but when people validate a negative relationship to abundance, they create that reality in the present. Worse, they train themselves to believe that their situation at the moment is what it will always be, and that they'll never change it.
Be very careful of making sweeping negative generalizations about what "always" or "never" happens to you, and be aware of how you talk about money and the emotions that you create when you express what you're thinking about wealth and lack. Take financial responsibility for yourself, of course, and don't be in denial of your present situation . . . but when you talk about wealth, use language that signals to the Universe that you're on a new path. Words have tremendous power and energy, and the language you use to describe your financial situation actually creates feelings and vibrations that influence the Universe.
Take the word broke, as in "I'm broke!" It may be true that you have no money in your bank account and your salary isn't enough to cover the bills that are coming due this month. But are you "broken," like a doll lying helpless in a corner? Of course not! You always have resources, and you always have the ability to create positive emotions that will allow you to turn on the faucet of abundance.
